Sir Terry Wogan receives a £250 donation to BBC Children in Need on his visit to The Book Store in Abbey Shopping Centre.
The Radio 2 presenter was in Abingdon to sign copies of his new book 'Where Was I?'. Simon Baldwin presented the Togmeister with a cheque on behalf of the shopping centre. Sir Terry was delighted to receive the cheque and said it was an "extremely kind and generous gesture". He said a big thank you to Abbey Shopping Centre for the donation - and to the hundreds of people who came to the book signing. The Book Store also donated £1 from every copy sold to the BBC charity.
